Sunbird Bioenergy has established a 200 Ha cassava nursery to multiply improved varieties of cassava for use in the bioenergy industry. The multiplication process is expected to commence in November 2016. This will then provide sufficient high quality planting material (cassava sticks) for the launch of the out-grower program in 2017.
