Vishnupathy Parishithu, General Manager
Vishnu transferred to the company from our major shareholder, Mahtani Group. He has extensive experience as General Manager and previously worked as Finance Manager and Operations Manager. He oversees the company’s financial control, budgeting and forecasting, reporting and audit functions.
Mark Muchinga, Director of Agriculture
Mark is responsible for the development of the 10,000 Ha nucleus cassava farm and farm operations including staff, land preparation, planting and harvesting programs. He has more than 15 years’ experience of managing large scale farm projects growing a range of products including cassava, wheat, soya, maize and canola.
Brian Kanyanga, Director of Engineering
Brian has an MBA and is a Bachelor of Engineering Electrical Machines and Power Systems. He managed the construction and commissioning of Sunbird Bioenergy’s ethanol and power project in Sierra Leone (formerly Addax Bioenergy) and is applying this experience to the development of the project in Zambia.
Dennis Beunk, Agricultural Agronomist
Dennis has an MSc in Tropical Agricultural Development, Economics and Planning. He is responsible for the design and economic planing of the 10,000 Ha farm, and ensuring the development is within the allocated budget. He has over 25 years’ experience in the development of large scale projects, with a particular focus on cassava and starch production.
Emmanuel Mapoma, Out-Grower Manager
Emmanuel started his career working with the Zambian Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock working on a verity projects including educating rural farmers on sustainable farming and postharvest best practices.
